Tamir is a land based on Tamir, a land Rosella visited during the events of King's Quest IV.

The land can be seen in part on a tapestry on the wall of Gwendolyn's room (though the land is never mentioned by name during the series). Rosella is seen on horseback is chased by a Goons during a dark night, other background details are not clear.
As Graham was relatively healthy in this timeline (there is no evidence of him suffering a heart attack, his kingdom was never under threat, that Magic Fruit is only a legendary myth, no apparent existence), it is not clear Rosella's reasoning for going there, other than its hinted that Rosella just loves to go on adventures and explore, and often carries her magic fire sword she received from Amaya with her on these adventures.
Located somewhere in the Midwestern Hemisphere on the Daventry (KQGS) continent, it may lie near Tanalore (KQGS), the Great Mountains (in the southwestern edge of the Eastern mountains and the Infinite Desert, south and west of Serenia (KQGS), Llewdor (KQGS), and Eldritch (KQGS). Lieing roughly southwest of Daventry (KQGS) and near Kolyma (KQGS). Alternatively it could be east of the Eastern mountains of Serenia or Avalon (KQGS).
