As far as I know beyond KQ6 and the Companion there is no other known information concerning Abdul. Nothing that suggests he was banished or simply remained in dungeons left to rot, or simply executed.Baggins (talk) 07:14, May 8, 2014 (UTC)

Withdrawal[]

Since Abdul Alhazred and Whatley Manor from Kings Quest IV exist within the same original continuity. It could be possible that when the manor withdrew to Daventry, he was brought with it, along with the Necronomicon. Which the Kings Quest Companion suggests exists "somewhere" in Daventry but never stated.-Moogleknight24

I'd say absolutely unlikely as Alhazred is from an entirely different era in Lovecraft lore. 700-738 AD compared to 1920s for Innsmouth stuff. Alhazred is also only associated with the Arabian nights-sequel Middle East motif. Which wouldn't fit with New England Innsmouth.Baggins (talk) 14:30, November 3, 2014 (UTC)
I apologize, I assumed that, time periods had nothing to do with it, and that things which withdrew to Daventry, always took the most important aspects of said story. for example, a fantasy novel, with a modern day hero who carries on the legend of a hero from ancient times. I always imagined, if parts of that world withdrew to Daventry, the two characters being equally important would both show up. But then again, if that was the case, we'd have Graham encountering Chuthlu.

The Companion seems to suggest that it's by eras. Who knows when the first withdrawal took place in earth time, but apparently there was a withdrawal related to Greece and Rome, and another from the time of Innsmouth. Egypt/Aegyptian is unclear if it's withdrawal or simply a location in the world of Daventry already from a millennia before. Obviously Dracula would have had to come over after when Bram Stoker's novel took place. Other than that the details are not really clear.Baggins (talk) 07:48, November 4, 2014 (UTC)
