Behind the scenes[]

Stonehenge is mentioned in the King's Quest Companion when discussing the history of Merlin.

A Stonehenge like structure is seen in KQ6 known as the 'Circle of Stones'.

In KQ8, is a 'Stone-henge-like structure.[2] It is a set of archways (which seem to be made of wood) with an altar located in Paradise Lost (a caldera on the flanks of the north side of the Frozen Reaches volcano). It serves as the gateway to the Realm of the Sun, which can be opened with an appropriate key. In the game, the structure is known as the 'stone hedge' (Stone Hedge) in the debugger mode.

Another stone circle can be visited in another Sierra game; Conquests of Camelot.
