Background[]
Salmon is the son of Harvath. His post is a guard room thirty feet up the wall of the castle gate. He had closed the gates to Castle Daventry in order to prevent people from escaping the castle due to music of the Piper. He wouldn't let people back into the castle on Oswold's orders, until they found out what had happened. Rosella had to convince him to open the gate to let her back in. As soon as he finally let her in, he ordered the gates closed again to prevent sloks from entering the castle.[1] He later opened the gates so that they could leave and attempt to destroy the wandering weevils.[2]
