King Graham believed that Ricardo Eduardo Rodriguez Roo Rat was a ratkin.[1] The talking Giant Rat Graham encountered in the Land of the Leprechauns was likely a ratkin as well.

Ratkins are a race of sentient rats in some pen & paper RPGS.
Note while all rats and animals are sentient in King's Quest universe (usually this is only knowable with magic: Understanding the Language of Creatures or white snake) ratkin race would be able to understood without magic as they speak common languages.
