The Moon is an item in King's Quest VII: The Princeless Bride
It is a wheel of green cheese falls into the fountain of Eldritch. Chicken Pet believes it to be the moon and thinks the sky is falling (a reference to the famous fable). Valanice has to return the Moon to the sky by flinging it upward. First she must acquire the Moon from the fountain. This is tricky as Valanice cannot reach it when the player clicks it, potentially confusing the player as she could simply lean over. Instead, she must obtain a book which she exchanges with Ricardo Eduardo Rodriguez Roo Rat for a Shepherd's Staff in order to get it.
