Types of measurements[]

  • Heptan is a form of measurement used in Daventry. Though its full context and length is not clear. Its single reference in a novel makes use of it in a squared form (Heptans squared)
  • Miles is a form (albeit uncommon) form of measurement for distance between locations and travel.
  • League is a form of distance of several miles (four miles in Daventry for example).
  • Yards is another measurement occasionally mentioned. It probably has its Earth meaning of about three feet.
  • Foot/feet is another form of measurement taken from its earth counterpart (roughly twelve inches). The height of Graham has been listed in feet (but has varied by source).
  • Meters another measurement briefly mentioned in KQ3 during a death scene. The chasm at the bottom of the mountain was twenty meters deep.
  • Inches is another measurement referenced quite a bit. It likely is equal to its Earth equivalent meaning.
  • The time it takes for elk to run between the Dale of Solitude and the Stream of Yilia'mureia is used as a form of measurement by the fairy kind living in the Old Wood.
