King Gryph is the leader of the gryphs that reside in the Frozen Reaches. He resides in Gryph Cave. After his capture by Thork, the Gryphs went wild and attacked the Snow Nymphs. The King was eventually rescued from Thork's citadel by Connor who subsequently slew Thork. Upon his return to the other side of the lake, Connor discovered that the King had restored order to his flock. The King gave Connor a Blue Adamant in thanks and suggested that Connor make his way to the mountaintop to find a way to the Realm of the Sun.
