Embark upon a perilous journey into the darkest corners of the King’s Quest universe. Not one, but many successful quests must be completed to save the royal family from a tragic destiny. With a surprise introduction and an equally unexpected conclusion, plot twists abound as you strive to discover the mysteries of a strange land, overcome its hostile inhabitants, and reveal the secrets hidden therein.
Roam the grounds at night and discover areas which remain hidden in daylight hours. Travel swiftly as time is of the essence, as each moment brings the family closer to ruin.
Differences[]
- Utilizes standard Amiga music and higher sound quality than PC Speaker or average adlib sound of original KQ4, although not as good as the Roland MT-32.
- Adds digital sound effects throughout not available on other versions.
- Graphics are based on later (1989) versions of the game.
- The Amiga conversion is credited to Steve Coallier, Robert W. Lindsley, and John Rettig.
- The Amiga's audio was done by Rob Atesalp.
