Judgment Seat

The Judgment Seat is a small chair, made of wood, decorated in purple-and-red cushions and tassels. It is used on the first day of the new moon, when the citizenry of Daventry can lay their cases before the king, or in his absence the seneschel. It is one of the most sacred rights of the kingdom.
