Jack the Giant-Killer is a farmer's son from England.

Background

He dashed around the country killing various giants in order to get their treasures. In the course of his adventurers, he rescues fair maidens, saves the life of King Arthur's son, and received the "Fee, fi, fo, fum" treatment from one of his eventual victims. In the end, Jack is made a knight of the Round Table, given a great castle to call his own, and marries the beautiful daughters of one of King Arthur's dukes. They live happily ever after.[1]

Behind the scenes

Jack the Giant-Killer is another story concerning characters named Jack, connected to giants. He is not to be confused with the Jack of "Jack and the Beanstalk" fame or the American Jack. These are both stories known in the world of Earth (Other World).
