The Fairy Helpers (sometimes known as Faeries[1] or the fairies) are Genesta's constant companions.
Background[]
They are small fairies (possibly pixies) with fluttering wings and brightly-colored gowns. They utter not a word. The little fairies apparently are not able speak, and are strangely silent, and utter not a word. They do not respond to anyone who try to enquire of them.[2] The tiny fairies guard the palace door.
Behind the scenes[]
They are given the title 'Genesta's Fairy Helpers' in the KQ4 Hintbook by Roberta Williams.
These are referred to as tiny/small/little fairies in KQ4 narration, and are the small races of fairies (pixies and other small fay) seen in that game. They maybe a similar race the Good Fairy seen in KQ2.
Also known as Fairy Helpers. Or even Faeries by some.
