Fairies is a plural version of fairy seen in most King's Quest games, Companions, and a couple of novels. It has been used for multiple different fairy races (except those in King's Quest VII which are known as 'faerie/faeries' in most if not all sources).
Background[]
Races known as ''fairies'' come in multiple varieties some that have wings, and some that do not.
List of "Fairies"[]
- Fairies ('fairy' is general singular pronoun term used for fairies found in King's Quest 1-6, the game documentation, Hint Boooks, the Companion, and The Official Book of King's Quest series).
- Fairies (also known as Fairie/fairies/fairy in King's Quest: The Floating Castle, and as woodland faery/faery/faeryfolk/faeries in other books of the series.)
- Fairies (a reference to the Good Fairy of KQ2, as mentioned King's Quest: Kingdom of Sorrow)._
- Fairies (also known as Fairy Helpers/little/tiny/small fairies in KQ2 and in various sources).
- Fairies (also known as Fairy Godmother in KQ1AGI/KQ1SCI, categorized as fairies in the Companion).

- Good and Bad Fairies (Genesta, Lolotte from KQ4, and the pixie-like fairy from KQ2).
- Lolotte and Genesta are classified as fairies in KQ4 (though later games also categorize them as Faeries/Faerie). A line from Shakespear refers to Titania as a fairy queen.
