King Edward was the former King of Daventry before Graham (KQGS). He is based on the original Edward from King's Quest I.

Behind the scenes[]
While Edward's statue is missing in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 in the King's Glen, it can be seen next to Graham's statue in the image mirror 'collection's screen at the end of the chapter.
There were some unused elements in the script that suggest that both statues were originally intended to be next to each other, and Graham explained Edward to Alexander.
