The Druids' Fire is a ceremonial fire maintained in the center of the Circle of Stones. It is used to sacrifice humans (and possibly other beasts), to control the weather around the Green Isles. It may be central to other nature magic used by the druids.
It is filled with oaken embers, which are useful for calling upon The Nightmare.
Behind the scenes[]
In romantic-era druid mythology and other pagan traditions the Oak tree is sometimes seen as the symbol of Thor.[1] The druids live on an island where mostly grows Oak. So it is likely no mere coincidence that their Sacred Treasure is the Sacred Oak, and they are concerned with the power to control weather, and storms on the islands (all of these appear to be inspired by romantic druidic Thor traditions).
