Ancient reptilian creatures from the time of the Lizardfolk. Some may still exist at the time of Daventry, but are perhaps rare. Some believe dragons may be related to them or the basis of dragon myths. But it cannot be the memory of the dinosaurs because humanity and dinosaurs never existed at the same time (or at least very few know of them).
Sloks appear to be small dinosaurs or descended from them.
Known dinosaurs include pterodactyl and tyrannosaurus[1] Priscilla enclosed a map of a land of dinosaurs so that the Wanderer would know how he might make maps during his journey.[2]
