Cronus was an ancient diety, and God to the Greeks and Romans.

Background

He was the father of three sons, Zeus, Poseidon (Neptune), and Pluto. The three sons killed their father and divided the world between them--Zeus obtained Mount Olympus, Neptune obtained the seas, and Pluto obtained Hades.[1]
