The Blue Beach is the beach on the western known island of the Enchanted Isles or the eastern coast of the continent/island of Kolyma.

This may be part of the Blue Islands, the distinctive sand and rocks giving the islands their name.
Derek Karlavaegen also suggests in one of his papers that the Magic Door leads to eastern Kolyma when the correct keys are used suggesting the mountainous coast is the section of the kingdom beyond the Forest Mountain where Valanice’s parents lived. His original map shows the Enchanted Island right off the southeastern coast of Kolyma.

Known as the Blue Beach in The Official Book of King's Quest, or Strange Beach in KQ2 hintbook and Companion.
This beach and it’s cliffs are never specifically referred to as an island in Romancing the Throne: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part II, or in the game. Although in first edition of the Companion the context of one section of the book suggests that it’s eastern Kolyma. The Perils of Rosella: From the Chronicles of Daventry, Part IV does mention Enchanted Isles but the context could be talking about Enchanted Island and the small island off it’s coast and islets on it’s western coast that only appear on the first edition maps.
Context is less clear in later editions and the maps show only the Enchanted Island by itself on the maps with no other islands/continent.
