Bill is one of Daventry's guards.
Background[]
He is one of the guards under the command of Roderick. He is in charge of the castle's portcullis and stood guard behind the gate with Henry. He was a new guard around the time the Floating Castle invaded Daventry.[1] Henry called Bill to open the portcullis for Alexander upon his return from the Floating Castle. He was new, so he didn't recognize the prince in the dark. He asked for the prince's pardon for his mistake. He helped raise the portcullis, and Alexander entered.
Behind the scenes[]
In the book the character's name is simply Bill. The title of this page is simply used to differentiate him from other Bills in the KQ series.
