Ali Zebu is the incantation required to be spoken in order to open the door the the Castle of the Crown's treasury room.
Background[]
Alexander heard the first part spoken by a Guard dog, and found the second part written on a scrap sheet of paper he found in an ebony box in the Vizier's room. Since the door to the treasury room had no handle or keyhole, Alexander resorted to try opening it with his voice, composing his words carefully.
Zebu is said to mean nothing, other than being part of the magic spell.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The word zebu comes from the Tibetan ceba, meaning ‘hump.’ Zebu is a breed of hump-backed India ox. With the Arabic Ali [‘by the most high’] in front, Alizebu could be translated as ‘holy cow.’[2]
